Hi, Brittany.

You do not have to be having a bad day to be here.

Breathe is a little pocket for brighter moments, ridiculous laughs, grounding when the world gets loud, and a softer place to land.

Breathe
v420.69
🌻🌻🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋

Brighter days. Calmer nights.

You’re here.
That’s enough.

A colorful little pocket for laughs, steadying moments, and whatever today needs.

Please stay. Nothing needs to be decided right now.

What do I need right now?

No perfect answer. Pick the closest thing.

🦋

That’s okay.

You do not have to know. Pick the least-wrong option.

🦋

Nothing to solve right now

You can just be here.

Unclench one thing if you can. Let the phone sit in your hand. You do not need to decide what comes next yet.

1:00

Breathe will stay right here.

🦋

Just the next few minutes

Survive the next 10 minutes

You are not alone. Please stay. Nothing needs to be decided right now.

For right now

1. Put distance between you and anything you could use to hurt yourself. Another room, locked away, handed to someone, or simply farther from reach.

2. Get near another person if you can. You do not need a perfect explanation.

3. Do one body thing: cool water, blanket, sit on the floor, sip water, or breathe out longer than you breathe in.

If you are in immediate danger or need emergency medical help, call 911.

After the wave

You made it through those ten minutes.

You do not have to suddenly feel okay. Pick whatever feels gentlest next.

Grounding toolbox

Pick whatever feels easiest. You do not need to do all of them.

5 4 3 2 1 sensesUse what is around you right now
Name where you areOrient to the present

Say your name, today’s date, where you are, and three ordinary facts that are true right now. Example: “I am in my room. The floor is under me. My phone is in my hand. This moment will move.”

Color huntGive your brain a simple search job

Find five blue things, five yellow things, or pick any color. Then find three square things and three soft things.

Describe the roomLike you are explaining it to someone who cannot see it

Describe the walls, light, furniture, sounds, temperature, and where the doors or windows are. Stick to concrete details.

Feet and pressureNotice your body touching something solid

Put both feet flat down. Press for five seconds, release, and notice the pressure. Then press your palms together and release.

Alphabet categoriesA thinking task that is not the problem

Pick a category such as foods, animals, names, movies, or places. Work through A to Z. Skipping a hard letter is completely fine.

Count backward by 7Use just enough brainpower to interrupt the loop

Start at 100 and subtract 7: 100, 93, 86… If that is irritating, use 3s or simply count backward from 30.

Temperature resetUse a safe cool sensation

Hold a cool drink, rinse your hands with cool water, or place a cool cloth on your face. Notice the temperature without hurting yourself.

UnclenchRelease tension one tiny place at a time

Unclench your jaw. Drop your shoulders. Open your hands. Wiggle your fingers. Let your tongue rest. Take one slow exhale.

Three facts and one next thingSmall, concrete, now

Name three facts that are definitely true, then choose one safe next action that takes less than five minutes.

Checking the installed app shell and core support files.

  • Home hero “Please stay” text is now plain dark text with no white/translucent box; hero typography is slightly smaller on phones to preserve the sunflower and butterfly artwork.
  • Emergency / next 10 minutes
  • Breathing and grounding tools
  • Safety plan and Untangle
  • Trusted people and one-tap call/text links
  • Local notes, Future Brittany, Rescue Kit, Tiny Wins and Memory Jar
  • Cards, poems and the app shell

Memes you have already viewed may be available offline too. Phone calls and texts do not require web access, but they still require cellular service or another phone connection.

What’s New

Build 0.9.10 · still proudly v420.69

Breathe grew a little 🌻

  • Live Companion presence repaired: Breathe now checks in immediately when opened, every minute while visible, and reports when it leaves the foreground. Device connection also has a same-origin fallback if the browser drops the session cookie.
  • Home hero collision pass tightened again: the “Please stay” text is pushed farther right and smaller so it fully clears the lower sunflower, and the butterfly paths are pulled away from both sunflowers and all copy for a cleaner layout.
  • What do I need right now? quick routing
  • My Rescue Kit + Comfort Menu
  • After the Wave after the 10-minute timer
  • Tiny Wins with no streaks or guilt
  • Future Brittany notes inside Notes
  • One-tap trusted-person text templates
  • Memory Jar with optional photos
  • Backup & Restore for local Breathe data
  • Offline readiness check
  • Optional guided tour + written guide
  • Continue interrupted 10-minute support and grounding
  • Quick-hide Home sections without removing the tools
  • “I don’t know” path with smaller choices
  • Rescue Kit editing, reordering and replace-a-spot
  • Future Brittany: Surprise me or Choose one
  • Happy / Encouraging draw buttons hardened and fixed
  • Guided tour expanded to cover every major Breathe area with clearer explanations
  • Written guide expanded into a complete reference, including call/text behavior and privacy/offline details
  • Core cards, poems and meme index are bundled into the app shell so shelves cannot hang on “loading”
  • Blue Settings butterfly is centered and no longer depends on phone emoji styling
  • Decorative motion visibly moves butterflies and sunflowers when enabled
  • Welcome screen now stays visible about 3.25 seconds so the artwork and message can actually be read
  • The Home “Please stay” message now uses dark text and is fitted around the sunflower art
  • Funny archive cleaned: reaction-only GIF frames, private/chat/app screenshots, and context-dependent reply images were removed
  • Meme captions under the image were removed so the image stands on its own
  • Funny shelf trimmed again: reaction-only frames, chat/app screenshots, private photos, cat/Lexi-coded carryovers, low-readability images, and a few poor-fit dark/substance images were removed
  • The “Toe is not towing” card was removed
  • On phones, moving butterfly accents stay outside the Home hero copy so decoration never fights the words
  • The v0.7.1 splash/cache hotfix is still included
